Heinz Gärtner presents his latest reference work “Internationale Sicherheit und Frieden – Definitionen von A bis Z”. This encyclopaedia contains around 800 terms with over 1,000 definitions, accompanying explanations, extensive literature references and around 5,000 cross-references. In it, Gärtner summarises the current state of the academic debate on international security and peace, explains specialised definitions in an understandable way and uses comprehensive cross-references to point out connections that are often overlooked in the literature.
