Reinforcement for digital growth: Tim Kröner joins Nomos Verlag
In February 2025, Tim Kröner will take over as Head of Digital Projects at Nomos Verlag. Kröner, who most recently worked as Head of Digital Media at VDI Verlag, brings many years of expertise in the field of digital transformation and media strategy and will make a decisive contribution to the further development of the publisher’s digital offerings.
Tim Kröner studied sociology at the University of Trier, specialising in new media and business administration. Since 1999, he has gained extensive experience in various management positions, including at Deutsche Lufthansa AG, OnVista and as Managing Director of Ligatus GmbH. Most recently, he was Head of Digital Media at VDI Verlag since 2017, where he was responsible for all digital projects and processes.
In his new role, Kröner will work alongside Dominik Trunk, who joined the team in July 2024. He will also liaise closely with the digital marketing department, in particular with the experienced experts Timo Ossfeld and Jeannine Trumpfheller.
Tim Kröner succeeds Dirk Trompetter, who was responsible for the successful relaunch of the NomosShop, among other things, and is now moving back to the Rhineland. Kröner is thus taking over a well-prepared IT landscape on which he can seamlessly build with his expertise.
